Our Rosary program was developed by the late Sir James Finn where he gathered donated Rosaries and placed them on the windowsills of St Marys' church for anyone to take. These Rosaries are donated to the Knights, Blessed and are distributed to the locations around the church. As of , Jan 2026, (after 5 years) we have distributed over 1200 Rosaries.
Our Family Programs:
Holy Water Distribution is completed on an annual basis. The Holy water is blessed by our local pastor and then distributed after the Masses.
Our "1st Sunday Brunch" is a gathering of parishioners after the 9:30 Mass on the first Sunday of the month. Join us for fellowship and a light brunch and meet some Knights, friends, and families of the Parish.
Our annual Family Prayer Night is a service that allows us to pray for our nation. This is a service for prayer and is not politically driven. Our prayers are always needed.
We assist in an annual Mardi Gras Dinner that the parish puts on the weekend prior to Ash Wednesday. join us in this wonderful event for fellowship, fun, games, and a great meal. We had over 120 parishioners this year (2026) join in the free event.
Our Community Programs:
Annually we conduct a Tootsie Roll drive and ask for donations for the special Olympics. The funds go to the State of Maine and are distributed to Morse High School to assist in funding events and sponsoring children to attend events in the Nation.
We assist at St Marys' Yard sale where local goods are sold in a yard sale event. St Marys' sponsors the event and collects items for the sale from donations. The items are available for sale only by donation. You pay what you feel the item is worth. Some large items do have a minimum amount.
The winter months can be cold and hard. The Knights annually purchase and donated "Coats for Kids" in the community. We work with the schools, churches, and youth centers to determine who needs winter coats and we provide them to the families at no cost.
Our Life Programs:
We offer a Scholarship Award to a child of The local Knights of Columbus based on an easy provided by the student.
